Welcome to MegaMan Storm!

Wow, time sure does fly by quick. It's already 2008 and MegaMan Storm has just recently turned 2 years old! Our history stretches back much further than that though. For 2008, our goal is as always: expand the site in as many ways as possible and to provide the best MegaMan content we can make. The new forum is just the beginning, and the first big step in the New Year. We thank you for visiting the site, and we hope you guys enjoy it!

Show your support for X9 - January 14, 2009, 10:41 PM MMXForever Long time Mega Man site vet Jeff is the brains behind megamanx9.com. With Capcom insisting that new Mega Man games will come down to fan support for an another new game, he figured it was about time the X series got another installment someplace. The site is a way for fans to throw their support behind the X series and hopefully result in an X9 seeing the light of day. I encourage all of you to go, visit the site and the forum, and let Capcom know that we want more X, Zero, and Axl!

Besides, aren't you interested in what that purple goo in Axl's helmet crystal was?

Happy 21st Mega Man! Happy 15th X! - December 19, 2008, 02:09 PM MMXForever Yes it seems we have not one, but 2 different anniversaries here in the Mega Man community. The original Blue Bomber turned 21 a few days ago. Not to be outdone, X turned 15 on the same day. While Mega Man has enjoyed success this year with the release of Mega Man 9, X, hasn't seen a game since Maverick Hunter X a few years ago. While Capcom is surely looking at a 10 installment in the Classic series, a mention of X9 did come up a few weeks ago on Gonintendo.com. Granted it was only statement made saying that Capcom would consider it if fan interest was great enough (i.e. go buy their games and they'll think about it), but any mention of X makes me extremely happy.

Rumors have also been making the rounds pertaining to a Japanesse magazine claiming it will reveal a new Mega Man title in its February issue. Sites such as Gonintendo and Mega Man Network are reporting that this in fact a successor to the Starforce series, though still others say this is the rumored Scramble Battle Wii title that popped up about a year ago.

And yeah I know those rumors have been out for a couple weeks now, but at least I got around to posting them. Have a Merry Christmas guys!

AN UPDATE!!! - November 24, 2008, 09:46 AM MMXForever Hey guys whats up? It has been awhile. First off let me just apologize for the lack of updates over the last few months. Me and UX have been extremely busy with school and have just not had the free time to do anything with the site. We have ben quietly working on a few things, but have no idea when they will be done so no reason to elaborate on them now. So um yeah, in the time we were away Mega Man 9 was released and Starforce 3 was released in Japan and not much else. Within the Mega Man Community, it seems that Mega Man Network is having some problems as the site and forums have been down nearly a week now. We wish those guys the best in fixing whatever the heck is wrong with their site and getting it back up and running as soon as possible.

Also, I really don't know when we will resume regular updates as I still have loads of stuff to do over the next few months and I am sure UX does as well. Hopefully we'll be able to get some stuff up every now and then for you guys, but it just isn't working out that way right now.

For now though, I wish everone here in the USA a Happy Thanksgiving, and hopefully we'll update again before Christmas.

Yep, Still Busy... - September 27, 2008, 07:36 AM Ultimate X Hey everyone, Ultimate X here. Wow, it's been quite a bit of time since we've posted or updated anything on the website. It's been a rather rough ride for me the past couple of weeks, and I don't doubt that the other staff members have been as busy as I have. To put it into perspective, I honestly only have time to do anything about the site on the weekends, and most of the time I have work during the weekends or studying that I must do. Coupled with the fact of losing interest in the MegaMan franchise, it's not the greatest motivation.

In regards to our contest, it was a complete misfire. Simply put, we did not even get five entries. I am not sure whether it was because of bad advertising, or people's skill at making wallpapers, but we just did not get enough people to join it. With such results, we are very doubtful about doing any other contest again, and Storm's Summer Wallpaper Showdown is now cancelled entirely. However, I do want to thank everyone that did enter.

Now, I hope you guys have been enjoying MegaMan 9. I am personally not going to get the game, since I have no real interest in it, but I've read the reviews and they have been great. I am not aware of any other news, since I have not been keeping up with them, but I'm pretty sure no other game(s) has been announced. Speaking of news, we are probably going to look for someone who can help us keep the site updated with any recent news. So, if you think that you are qualified already (if we will post a staff position opening, I will provide the exact details as to what we're looking for) and are sure of it, send me an email with your name, and an example news article so we can articulate how you would do your work. Some simple things we look for are grammar, spelling, proper sourcing, and your ability to formulate the article in your own words. Plaigirism is not taken kindly.

Well, that's about all I wanted to say. We're not dead, just hibernating until a proper time will come for us to be revived yet again. =P

Going on Vacation - August 31, 2008, 09:33 PM MMXForever With moving into my apartment and college starting, I haven't exactly been keeping the site up to date as far as news these past few weeks. That will probably go on for another week as I am leaving tomorrow and will be gone all next week. UX and the other staff members will still be here but don't expect much in the way of news till I get back. After that though I should be able to keep up with stuff more then I have been. Good thing too as the long awaited Mega Man 9 comes out later this month. Thanks guys.
