Your web marketing team has finally set up your company website and it is looking pretty great, but a few weeks after, you find a lack of audience interest in your area about your company, especially your website visits. Your team has done all the SEO practices and social media tactics to expose your website, but they appear to work in a lacklustre manner. Maybe you need to invest in paid advertising.

Paid advertising exists in almost every region of the Internet. From Google’s GoogleAds, which feature your post when relative keywords align directly to your product or service’s niche, or Facebook’s Promotion Booster, where your company’s social media profile posts get featured in interested party’s feeds without their consent at certain times.

These paid advertisements can cost you around $5 to $100 depending on the length of time you’d like your advertisements to appear to potential customers, but it is proven a $5 investment in a paid advertisement in social media could actually get you great returns of more than 150%.

Paid advertising also comes in the form of banner advertising; if you could find related famous blogs that tackle your industry, you could ask to have a company banner of yours placed on their website for a fee. The larger and more eye-catching the banner area is, the more expensive it can be.

Internet marketing is not just about the techniques you could do to attract customers. You will need additional advertising help to ensure that you get the market you want to attract.

The world of Internet marketing is every-changing and the dynamic landscape continues to evolve in 2013. Writers, bloggers and copywriters face new challenges in marketing their articles. Here are a few things to remember to stay afloat in the competition.

1. Topics
Still the hottest topics of today are show business, fashion, current news and events, sports and technology. If you have been focusing on these topics ever since, by now, you should have gained a following (given you’ve used proper SEO practices). However, if not, it would be wise to include some topics of these origin in your blog or a separate blog.

2. The Shorter the Better
Internet denizens continue to have shorter and shorter attention spans and on the average, 8 minutes is the only time they’ll give your article to be interesting or downright rubbish. Avoid writing more than a thousand-word essay; instead focus on at least 250-500 word articles that clearly explain your topics.

3. Grammar is Relative
Many writers strive to write articles in perfect grammar, but in today’s Internet, it matters relatively. A formal audience would call for formal grammar; others would just want to understand your points and composition. Grammar is relative to audiences and you don’t have to focus your strength to learn the proper use of words. This is crucial especially with copywriters who need their language to empathize with readers.

Developing your business’ brand is quite a difficult task and sometimes, it is not in the way you market your products or services that destroys market integrity, but the affiliates you choose. Here are a few reasons why you should be careful when choosing your affiliates.

If you’re an SEO company and another SEO company advertises in your websites, it might appear as virtual ‘cartel’ activity, which could take a toll on your and the other SEO company’s reputation in the Internet. However, if you advertise a web hosting company, you increase your chances of having more profit and income given the relativity of both industries to each other yet not being similar.

If you have explicit websites and companies sprawl their banners in your website, you could be lowered in the search engine results page. If for example, you endorse an adult website in your academic resource website, you could be lowered in the search engine results page or ultimately get penalized.

Your affiliates could also affect you especially if you take them in great handfuls. Choose from only one affiliate and have them endorsed in your website. “Advertisement hogging”, regardless of getting many offers for putting up many banners, could get your website into PR trouble.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) continue to blame compensation claims companies and personal injury lawyers for allegedly making a “legal racket” that allows them to profit from compensation claims by throwing a great number of them to insurance companies. However, personal injury lawyers never broke any laws; they only advise victims about their best options that could get complete compensation. Here are the reasons why victims should work with personal injury lawyers and why insurance companies dislike them.

1. Other Damages
Aside from the obvious physical injury you could get from any accident, some damages may be internal or constitutional. In the UK, an offending party can compensate a victim if the victim could prove that they suffered emotional and mental damages. Only a personal injury lawyer could prove these with their experience and knowledge.

2. Faster Claiming
Personal injury laywers have been handling cases repeatedly as this is their line of profession. It is highly likely that your claims case has a similar case they’ve already handled in the past from a previous client, which makes your claiming faster because your legal representative already has a template.

3. Unbiased Advice
If you claim directly against your insurance company or offender, they can only give you a lump-sum repayment stating the limitations of laws. With a claims expert or legal representative, you give yourself the option of having more options through the analysis of your claims expert. They can identify other laws broken by the offending party and forward it to have the victim’s complete compensation.

If somebody’s irresponsibility led to you having physical injuries, they owe you compensation for the damages. Accidents usually happen because of a party’s irresponsibility. However, with the great increase of fraudulent claims, insurance premiums continue to increase as claiming for compensation had become more difficult. If you want to know what makes a good accident compensation claim, here’s a list of things you’ll need.

1. Police Report/ Authorized Report
Any authorized report coming from an investigating body, such as the police or traffic authorities investigating a car accident or a business’ human resources and medical department can help with your claim. They can verify that your accident happened and you could have access to the information you need that will verify your accident statement.

2. Medical Check Up
New accident injury claim guidelines require victims to present two medical reports from two independent medical experts. The two medical reports should agree with each other. The medical reports will estimate the severity of your injuries and the costs needed for your treatment.

3. In-Car/At-Work Monitoring
Vehicles with good in-car monitoring systems and workplaces with good at-work surveillance are helpful evidences to gain complete accident injury compensation. Presenting the videos to your insurance company or legal representative can ensure you earn the complete compensation you deserve.

4. Legal Advice
It is important to consider having the help of a legal professional in making your accident compensation claim. Legal representatives have the understanding, knowledge and experience in making your claim. They can make your claim faster especially if they’re familiar with an accident claim similar to yours.

Over tens of thousands of people make their payment protection insurance claims on a weekly basis, leaving you virtually a one-in-a-million chance of landing your claim within your bank’s attention. PPI has cost you tens of thousands of pounds when you repaid your loans, mortgages and credit cards, and the only way to get it back in full is to work with a claims management company. Here are a few tips to find diamonds in the sea of United Kingdom claims companies today.

1. Location
Narrowing down your choices means choosing the nearest claims company in your city or area. Many claims companies can offer you good deals with claiming and legal services, but always choose the one that is near your place. Remember, you’ll need to get regular persona updates from your claims expert, and it is quite a great hassle for you to drive for more than 30-minutes to get to them.

2. Regulated by the Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice should be monitoring all the activities of the claims company you are working with. You will be imparting delicate, confidential information to your claims management company. Some swindling companies can sell your information to other legal representatives and companies, which might put you at higher risk of identity theft.

3. No Win No fee Contract
Never accept the services of a claims management company asking for up-front fees without any guarantees for results. The best way to get your compensation while having an 83% chance of PPI compensation success is by working with a PPI claims company. Reputable companies, such as ppitemplateletter.co have their customers sign the no win no fee contract first. Always ask for the contract first before the claims company starts its work for you.

Mobile Internet devices and application usage are becoming widespread as the capability of the mobile devices continue to improve. Advertising on these mobile devices are quite useful when it comes to good Internet marketing but you have to play the entire advertisement game properly. There are some advantages and disadvantages proprietors and marketers have to know before considering application-based advertising as a part of their campaign.

1. Relativity

If your advertisement in the application is clearly relative to the game, you could gain more customers in the process. For example, a racing game that has your advertisement explaining that you provide car parts and manufacturing products for drivers can do wonders for your company. Relativity is important and this must always be a priority with application-based marketing.

2. Wider Audience Span

From the computer to mobile devices, Internet usage has increased but is clearly topping off to the wider audience of mobile devices. Users, bringing the Internet everywhere and accessing their applications most of the time, can see more of your advertisements and even accidentally “click” the advertisement banner that can lead to your website. If they like what they seem then you’ve just earned a customer. Think of this situation happening with many customers using the app with your advertisement; it can grant you a wider audience span.

3. Limited View

As mobile devices have small screens, your banner may also be too small. Mobile application banners should be designed in a minimalistic way that can catch the attention of customers. Too much detail can make the banner look muddy, which may make it undesirable, along with the application itself, to the customers.

4. Retail Application

Most applications containing advertisements from your company are free software and you can present an option to customers to remove the ads by buying the full version. While you earn your keep with every bought application, you could also lose the potential of your banner advertisements as per agreement. This can work to your advantage or disadvantage. For example, if the retail version of the app has quite a low price and a bad review, you might be getting less for your share.

UK consumer group Which? pointed out today that Barclays’ £600 million increase for PPI compensation shows that banks can run out of compensation by 2013. The bank has owed a total of £2.6 billion for the entire United Kingdom, bringing the total compensation package for the UK to £13.6 billion.

PPI-Claims-Uk-money

However, Lloyds still leads in the compensation amounts with £5.3 billion, almost half of the compensation package. RBS has a total of £2 billion and HSBC with £1.3 billion for consumer compensation claims. During the “insurance boom”, banks made more than a billion pounds yearly from mis selling the insurance policy and the mis selling of the insurance ran on for a decade.

The Financial Ombudsman Service recently reached 11,000 claims per week, a record high that prompted them to hire more manpower.

The average payout for PPI is around £3000 per customer, but can increase especially for customers owning the insurance for 10 years, earning compound interests.

Which? executive director Richard Lloyd said that many banks are still in denial about the true extent of the PPI mis selling and that the consumer group agrees that £13 billion will not suffice for the entire United Kingdom.

However, the British Banking Association’s proposal of placing a deadline for PPI claims sparked outrage among consumer groups, critics and consumers. Which? said that the proposition of a deadline is absurd as PPI claiming in itself has a six-year deadline, which begins when consumers are informed by their banks about a mis sold insurance policy.

Payment protection insurance is a policy designed to protect loan, mortgage and credit card repayments in the event customers find themselves sick or unemployed. If you want to ensure you get complete repayments, it is important you work with a claims expert. Claims experts can do all the work for you, but if you want the experts to get all your repayments successfully, it is important that you consider the following.

  1. Information

It is essential that you and your claims expert share information about the claim and discuss it personally, not just on the phone or online. The information you impart with your claims expert is important; claims experts are not miracle workers and you need to provide them your financial details regarding the claim to make effective use of their services. The claims company can guarantee your privacy as they are under the Ministry of Justice’s regulation.

  1. Location

You should always go for a claims company in your area. If you find a claims company with a better deal outside your city or forces you to travel for more than 30 minutes, scrap the deal. The nearer they are to you, the easier it is to contact them and follow up about the details on your claim.

  1. Regular Updates

The purpose of location is to allow you and your claims expert to meet at any time about your claim. They would need to discuss to you the progress and update you regularly at the frequency you indicate with them. Your PPI claim should be discussed personally; phone or Internet communication limits the information and discussion you can make with your claim.

  1. No Win No Fee

Before you start discussing your claim, make sure that the claims expert and their respective company finalizes the no win no fee deal in your contract. You can have legal backing if you have any complaint about the case’s outcome as the claims expert handled it, if any.

Many businesses look to banner advertising as the first step of their Internet marketing campaign, but it is important to note that every detail added to a website has its own advantages and disadvantages. As for banner advertising, it helps in any way, but it can also be a catalyst to a search engine penalty if used improperly. Here are some details that could help you know more about banner advertising’s characteristics.

1. Expressive

As the old saying goes, a picture says more than a thousand words, what more with moving pictures? Banner advertisements can be made with Macromedia Flash to make them appear as commercials, or even interactive games. They can be expressive and interactive, which helps customers remember them and consider your product later on.

2. Heavy Bandwidth

If you are using high resolution graphics on your Flash, GIF or static banner images, you could take a toll on the affiliate website bandwidth or your own home bandwidth. Heavy bandwidth can cost the website a day of public relation development. It would be wise to find a compromise for an effective banner advertisement.

3. Artificial Links

Banner advertisement links are considered by search engines as artificial links, which the search engines downplay in most websites. If you have too many banners pointing to one home website, your affiliate website containing the banner and the home website may be penalized. It is important to consider the banners you place to be small in number.

4. Affiliation

An affiliate website with a bad PR with search engines can take your home website down if you affiliate and install your banner advertisements with them. It can actually cause great trouble with your website PR if you’re not too careful. Mismatched affiliation, such as a car manufacturer advertising on a soapmaker’s website, can get penalized by search engines.
